What Req2QA does, and who builds and runs it.
Req2QA is built and operated by Kalyan, an independent QA automation practitioner. It exists for teams who need real, structured test coverage but don't have a dedicated automation engineer on staff — upload what you already have, and Req2QA does the validation, generation, and (optionally) execution work a manual process would otherwise take days on.
Every execution run happens only against a sandbox/UAT environment you supply — never production — and your credentials are used once, in memory, and never stored. See our Security Overview for the full detail, or reach out directly at kalyan@req2qa.com.
I've worked as a developer, then as a tester and test lead, and later moved into QA leadership roles, across India, the USA, Canada, and now Australia. I can't name past employers due to confidentiality commitments, but that arc across roles and countries is what Req2QA is built from — stepping back into every one of those seats: what a developer needs from a tool, what a tester needs to trust its output, what a lead needs to see before signing off on a report to their own stakeholders. That's the difference between a generic AI wrapper and a tool shaped by someone who's actually sat where you're sitting.
“I built Req2QA because small and mid-sized teams shouldn't need a full-time automation engineer just to get solid test coverage. If you have a question, you're emailing me directly — not a support queue.”
— Kalyan, founder of Req2QA
Req2QA turns the requirements documents you already have into structured test coverage — automatically. Upload what you've got, and get back validated test scenarios and a full traceability matrix in under a minute. Optionally, Req2QA can then run those test cases live against your own sandbox/UAT environment and report the result with screenshots, or you can bring test cases you've already written and skip generation entirely.
